      Alright, Kelpie. Thank you.

Communicating on the internet can be tricky. When I was typing my last post, I was trying to look at how you or @GregCA might read them and interpret them. I had some difficulty doing that, admittedly. I figure that there is more I could have said to effectively communicate my thoughts. Though, I'm glad we ended up having this conversation, anyway.

I will leave with this: (Disclaimer: Language)

I don't think it can be proven either way, since there are so many invisible factors that come in to play, and everyone is so different with different experiences...different perceptions...it's really up to the individual to see what works for them. We can only say things as a precaution since nothing is written in stone. Coffee makes me spike...but salty foods do not! For others it is vice versa! :headphone:

To be honest they probably just hear a tiny ring. A lot of the people I've talked to about hyperacusis and tinnitus to have a minor form of tinnitus or a very mild hyperacusis. And they never knew these issues hyperacusis (mild hearing sensitivity), and tinnitus (very mild low ringing) are not normal. Most people just don't have severe or moderate forms of these conditions.

Are you saying that if he were to get it, there would be more funding for T research, or are you saying that he deserves it?

Ronald Reagan had tinnitus and cut research funding initiated by Richard Nixon. Don't count on it!

All ears of people who attended concerts. People who had never been to a concert hear complete silence.

After I told several people about my T, they have become more aware of sounds in their ears. One friend told me to stop talking about it.
