I Invented a Sound That Knocked Out My Tinnitus

I did everything that @R. David Case said. I listened for over a month straight, but it made absolutely no difference.
The success rate is around 40-50%, so I'm sorry it didn't help you.
Any update on your current status? Did you continue with Tinnitus Mix?
I'm so glad Tinnitus Mix helped you. However, you cannot convert the WAV file to a less accurate format, as you would lose the ultra-high frequencies and it would not work. Happy to help.
It looks like this thread has been active for six years. I haven't read through all of it, so this might have been mentioned before, but I was wondering:

Is there a way to connect R. David Case with Tinnitus Quest and involve The Tinnitus Mix in a well-designed research study?
I would be glad to work with anyone to improve Tinnitus Mix.
@R. David Case, why do people judge you so harshly? For one, you say you "give" your CDs to people, yet you charge $15 for them. So you lied about that, which typically suggests that you might lie about anything for a few dollars.

The photo of your solar-powered truck looks ridiculous. The wind generated by going over 10 miles per hour would destroy those large pizza box-like panels you placed on the hood and the cab—unless, of course, they were indestructible and glued on with something like Gorilla Glue. In that case, a strong gust of wind could either blow you off the road or flip the vehicle over. But just for fun, I will search online for solar-powered trucks and see what I find.

By the way, how do you pass buses or semi-trucks without making contact? You can't. You just can't.
Tinnitus Mix is free on this thread, so thank you for your kind words.

My solar truck went 70 mph, but it has a governor that won't let it go any faster. The panels never caused much drag, and since they were just as wide as the truck, I had no problems.

Thanks for your highly technical information. I now drive a solar-powered car that goes 280 miles on a charge, and it even made the front page of our newspaper.

If anything changes, it seems to just spike tinnitus or give temporary residual inhibition, as mentioned earlier.

@coolbeer just asked a sock puppet for an update. He never said it helped him.
Yeah, I quoted the wrong person. It was @Smork who said it reduced his tinnitus. We are up to 4,400 people helped by Tinnitus Mix. It does not help reactive tinnitus, since no sound therapy will help with that.

@Smork was determined most certainly to be a sock puppet or otherwise someone posting on your behalf. Some posts to this thread ONLY and disappeared, forever. All the long-term members said it either worsened them or didn't help.

Nobody has to post for me. 51% of all internet posts are bots, so I'm not going to argue with you, as you are most likely a fake bot. I use my real name, so why don't you use your real name instead of hiding behind a fake one? You're just here to disrupt and attack my credibility. If you would actually read the thread, you'd find many success reports posted there.

I read this thread long ago. I mentioned that it didn't work for any long-term and reputable members, just the ones that posted only to this thread and disappeared.

The figures are wrong, but 51% of traffic would not equate to 51% of posts, so you are conflating two different things. Summing human-driven categories (video, P2P, social, gaming, etc.) yields ~70–85% of total traffic, leaving ~15–30% for web, APIs, and miscellaneous — where bots reside. Cisco's 2023 projections (extrapolated to 2025) estimate total IP traffic at ~717 Tbps average, with consumer video alone at ~80% in some forecasts, reinforcing human dominance. If bots are 51% of web/API traffic (per Imperva), and web/API is only ~10–20% of total global traffic (per Sandvine/Cisco), then bots likely account for only ~5–10% of all IP traffic globally, not 51% as stated in your post, and the percentage of actual bot posts another figure altogether.

You're asking about someone using their real full name on a forum? You must be new to the interwebs. That is generally not recommended and is not the typical practice, for good reasons.
