Why does it have to be a cure right now? Why cant it bring some relief and hope to us all, to know we are building on the right track. maybe a cure will never happen in our lifetime, but the direction we are going in is positive.
No offense, your are a pessimist, and maybe rightly so because how much i read youa re suffering, but i am surprised you cant see the positivity in this news. At least things are moving in the right direction. yes you are right, no drug is perfect. I have taken an Ad most of my adult life and without them I would not be here, they have saved my life on more than one occassion. I certainly understand your suffering, not with T because mine is not as bad as yours, but with crippliing depression that got at my very soul. I will take some measure of happiness in this news, I wish you would as well because as many have expressed to you.=this is a SUPPORT forum. I will agree with all those who preach it and the therapy i have been in -healing starts when you try to look and build on the POSITIVE things in your life, not easy but its a start. I hope for your sake you start to see that.

 

There is a (sort of) cure right now.
Trobalt, an effective but dangerous drug.
I believe that 063 is the next iteration. Less side effects, more focused, more effective.
Maybe in some years a new improved iteration will come along.
I wouldn't mind taking it every day if it passes all the trial stages. Hell, I wouldn't mind taking it six times every day.

 

For me isn't a problem if I must take aut00063 for the rest of my life important is that I don't feel this fuckin.g eeeeeee anymore

 

When 2 TT members saw no change after being in the trial, there were those who assumed its a failure. No we have a member who experienced fantastic results, and now one person isn't a large enough sample size? Wow, some will never see the brighter side of things! The treatment clearly worked for Corrine, and that's quiet to my ears

If i can have 5 solid more years of life i would im suffering everyday bad.. To the point i dont want to continue,too much pain.. U say how u want to kill yourself all the time so u rather do that than live a couple more years somewhat normal again ?

 

Hi, Whilst taking the drug apart from the heartburn and sickness with alcohol I felt my normal happy self I used to be. I took the drug the same time everyday. The drug only wore off once I had stopped taking it which was gradual return after stopping for three weeks. It was lovely to have a break from it, It wasn't gone completely but like I say it was a 75% improvement.
Before going on the trial I had to have an EGC, reflex's check, full fitness examine and bloods taken.
I also had to have two forms of contraception . They did not tell me not to drink alcohol so I did drink, but at least if I do go for phase 3 I know what to expect.

 

Well, I'm sure phase 3 will be a longer trial. With trobalt, mine's reduced by 90% and that's a permanent reduction.

 

Do you know when phase 3 will take place ?

 

That's fab, I was beginning to think people thought I was a fraud as my trail worked for me. Just back to hell now though

How loud do you perceive your T? Is it maskable? Do you have low days?

I get very low days, where it is so bad and it vibrates, Sometimes I feel like giving up and have little break downs. I have even been in the car and wanted to crash it, but that's not the right way to feel or go about it

Just a quick side bar, what's the story on the cancer cure? That dreaded disease has hit my family in the last couple of months

 

I'm no scientist, but drugs that can CURE are those one takes to kill bacteria or a virusc or some unwanted cells that developed. Otherwise when sth is definitely wrong in the body you can only treat it. I've been doing it for years because of my thyroid and pcos problems. I'm not fan of long term drug taking but what choice do I have? I only live chosing between evils . Now in perspective taking more drugs for life because of T. I'm too very worried about kidneys and liver in all this, but hey - how about taking drugs only for 4 weeks every 4 weeks? Giving the organism a break from drugs. I would stand stronger T for a while if I knew I can have relief with drugs when I feel like.

And since you mentioned it, your T varies in pitch?

 

I don't think you're a fraud...I mean, why would you make something up.

 

Thats not a permanent reduction.. When u get off trobalt itll come back..

 

He will never get off troabalt, at least until Aut comes out.

 

It might be possible to reduce dosage or have a wk on / off to maintain a reduced volume .
If someone said you may cause other damage 10/15 yrs later I would take a pill to get my life back now .
New drugs in the meantime may be even better or I will habituate first and not even worry about it

 

Can you blame him? If trobalt is gonna work for me as well, thats what im gonna do too. If MrsD is right and Phase 3 will start in 2016 then it's still a long road to go...If Trobalt is a temporary solution for extreme T then so be it (please)

The trial may open up internationally for phase III..

 

I take 400mg once a day. My tinnitus is quiet before I take trobalt and is all day after. I'm assuming it's permanent reduction.

 

As soon as they do i will be on board! Just giving the am 101 a go for now
