Nothing. No increase in tinnitus or discomfort. Perfectly fine. I had a great time. Be safe, use prudent judgement, protect your ears, and live your life. This forum could use more positivity.

You are awesome for posting this! Thank you for some positivity.

What kind of earplugs did you use? Always looking for good recommendations for hearing protection.

Aminoglycoside antibiotic - Paromomycin. I stopped as soon as I noticed symptoms.

Just the Mack's foam ones. 32db NRR. I used to use them when I played in a band as well. The irony is that I always protected my ears as a musician and at concerts. Had above average hearing. Then a single dose of an antibiotic caused this problem.

And of course after a quiet day at the office, my tinnitus is hella loud today. Figures. Didn't start until the evening.

I am wondering why the variations in when tinnitus starts. Most people say it begins -- or that they experience a spike -- immediately after exposure to extremely loud noises or ototoxic drugs.

Perhaps something triggers it? I had ear fullness, and visited an audiologist. My T began in the evening of the day when I saw an audiologist. I can't think about anything she did that could have triggered it, but it is a hell of a coincidence...

No, mine is just cyclical for some reason. In the morning it'll be mostly gone again.

My tinnitus volume horribly spiked the first time I saw an ENT and audiologist, but so did my anxiety. I really panicked when I actually realized how much hearing I had lost and that it likely would not improve. That spike lasted for months, in fact I think that I am still (hopefully) recovering from it.

A virus. I thought it was just a bad cold.

I just played Russian Roulette last night - 5 times, actually. No problems. Seems safe.

One clear thing for me is that I have banished all concerts, music festivals and also going to the movies...

But this is good for you if you didn't have any troubles after your concert ! :)
