      Hello friends,
I've been gone a couple months. T is the same, in the background, thanks to some cognitive self talk. Same old T since the 70's. I'm finally off Ativan (benzo) and am SO happy. It took me a long time to wean off it, my doctor said go VERY slow. During that time the T went up and down and today it's no better or worse, but different because I don't 'gauge' the T, I gauge my response to it. I learned that here.

Consider yourself lucky if your t hasn't changed in all those years.
Worsening and new noises are definitely hard to deal with let alone habituate.
      But great story for sure:)

You have good advice I Who Love Music :) I'm busy trying to guage my response to T instead of simply dwelling on the noise and hopelessly trying to find a solution by myself.

All the years I've had T (40 +) I just realized the other day how my best relief to mask it is strumming on my old guitar! It kinda makes me feel half way normal to be able to drown out all the noise with a little pickin. And it makes it easy to feel the blues going thru you. I don't play that well but it sounds a heap better than T!

@ I who love music . I always wanted to play banjo but being a higher octave note I could never really figure it out. I can't really hear the guitar notes that well but rely on the vibration of it keep on picking!
