      The tinnitus I can handle easy but my hyperacusis is way too much to bear even water hurts my ear to no end. I am on edge ready to end it, cannot relax anymore, next to the fire place it hurts too much, it's gone to %&?&

      I thank you so much how you helped me with my tinnitus but the hyperacusis is way too much for me.

      Hyperacusis tends to get better with time though. Have you seen a doc? ran any tests?

      It might take 1-3 months before H becomes moderate, and another 3 months or so for it to become minor, and another 3-6 months on top of that for it to disappear.

      The above is what had happened to me. It had also happened to several others I spoke to here.

      I'd suggest trying not to tale those. Seems like it'll only make you worse in the long run...

      @BadratDay ,
      Time is a great healer with getting your ears desensitized to every day sounds so don't let them become a phobia.
      Go at your own pace but if it impacts on you day to the extreme then it's time to see what your options are regarding support and counselling.
      Love glynis

      Try a healthier diet and exercise if you don't already. -- I know it's hard to take on if you are depressed but it will help..

      Trust me, I've been really depressed and it will get better..

      think that sensation decreases with time. for a long time the conversations between three or four people around me in a small room dazed me but luckily it is not like that anymore

      tried a new diet but made me more anxious than anything , so I try to eat what I like really helped me get my appetite back, but I drink way less soda and sugary , trying to eat healthier little by little is the best choice, for exercise I m pretty much limited to my home having severe H I try to expose myself to sound I have control of

      My tinnitus arrived with hypercausis back in aug 2017, and it lasted for about 3-4 months before it vanished entirely. The tinnitus is still there, but much weaker than what it was
