Is "Ceftriaxone" a Safe Antibiotic to Take When You Have Tinnitus?

      Need to take antibiotics, heard they can cause or worsen Tinnitus, any input is appreciated.

      Triaxone - Ceftriaxone. Is it a safe antibiotic? Please help.

      Hey Bshar

      I understand how you feel, I have just finished a course of antibiotics and was freaking out. I had a Google and there doesn't seem to be much information regarding Ceftriaxone and tinnitus, it isn't listed as a side effect so that's a positive.

      I'm not sure if it would be suitable for your medical condition but apparently cephalexin is a good option for people with T

      I got IV Ceftriaxone. No adverse effects.

      Just leaving this post in all related threads for others to see. Getting IV antibiotics is scary shit for us tinnitus sufferers. Helps to see a positive post or two.
