      noise + 3 major increases via (shouting / MRI/ flu+Tylenol)
I don't want to take any meds after my Tylenol spike but my tinnitus is so bad right now that it can break my sleep.

GP gave me Imovane 7.5mg. I wonder if it is safe.

Zopiclone is listed, it seems the whole pharmacy is ototoxic.

Almost all drugs are listed, it is designed to be a complete guide. But some have more severe effects and others milder. You have to read about your specific drug. In the case of zopiclone, it receives the rating of “3” which says the following, suggesting that zopiclone is not ototoxic but may be vertigo-inducing:

“Drugs with the explicit indication, by the pharmacceutical company and/or the Health Department, as potentially vertigo-generating drugs, generally called vertigo or dizziness (drugs openly declared as vertigo generating). Information of potential vertigo associated with the drug is reported while there is no mention of ototoxicity”

I don't see it listed in any of my pdfs as it causing tinnitus.

I took Imovane before my Hyperacusis kicked in :||| but it could be just a coincidence, dunno. Imovane made me real anxietyful the next day though. Sorry if this is unproper to write this here, man you should get some sleep and this thing of mine might not have anything to do with you or your "story" sory

I doubt you'd be allowed to take it for that long to cause any damage

Is it ok to mix melatonin and zopiclone? I just took 10mg melatonin and 3.75mg zopiclon last night.

Eric, I used Zopiclone for many years on and off. They helped me a lot. I never take more than 3.75mg. It never did anything to my tinnitus.

No one knows, not even the greatest expert. It is not even clear whether ototoxicity and tinnitus are safely linked.
There are people who are demonstrably deaf from gentamicin but have no tinnitus.

I would advise you to be very sceptical about any idea of causality.

I'm spiking pretty bad not sure if it's related to this or not. Even if zopiclone is ototoxic there's no way half a pill can cause ototoxicity right? I checked online it says it's usually okay to take melatonin with Xanax not sure if it applies to zopiclone. I don't know why I'm having problems even with small doses of medication, I had this issue with Tylenol 4 months ago and the spike has not gone and that was only from taking a couple of pills

I really don't know if it's linked but I've been on zopiclone for the past two weeks for insomnia and to help reset my sleep pattern. At first I was taking 3.75mg every few days then for past couple days have been taking 7.5mg to sleep and for the past 24hrs have had a noticeable spike... also with me it's kinda the more attention I pay to it the worse it seems to get.... tonight trying to sleep without a zopiclone it's almost unbearable.... it's 2:30am here and I've been desperately searching the internet to see if there is a link :-( Glad to hear from everyone else it's not ototoxic though...?
