Is There Any Other Place in the Web as Gloom?

I'm just wondering if there is any other forum more gloom and desperate than this one?
I don't know any...

The forum can get a lot of members struggling to cope and feel suicidal but members always around to support them.

Posts off members whom share their tinnitus journey with us and can be a positive or negative journey they go through.

Members need to take out of them the information they need and read the positive posts too!
Taking a break off here from time to time can help if you need it.

Hopefully everyone can take something from the forum that helps them in some way.

Do understand, that tinnitus is a serious subject matter and many people are suffering. I don't see this as a gloom or doom spot. These people just need some advice, on how to adjust their lives to tinnitus and move forward. Nothing surprises me about this forum and I have seen much worse.

These are good people, that need love and support.

It didn't strike me as being negative at all. A lot of people with the same problem looking for a solution and voicing how it affects their lives.

Like fishbone, I've seen much worse.

 

This is a sad but good reminder that there are many other people suffering. I lost a family member to pancreatic cancer. It's awful.

 

My parents' best friend died of pancreatic cancer recently. It is my understanding that it is one of the most painful cancers...

Yes, try looking at a support forum for chronic pain. Nothing but people being overly negative/contemplating suicide.

This place is much more comfortable in comparison.

 

Sure, sometimes I do. I would rate my progress as partially sucessful, though.

But my question was more due to the fact, that it still really intrigues me, what tinnitus can do to people, e.g. see all the suicide threads.

I still try to figure out for myself the role that depression plays and especially anxiety...

I talked to so many people and so many seemed to have had anxiety before.

My question was an honest one.

I know that some people here are very helpful and committed to make the suffering less.

I really appreciate that. As soon as I am convinced I'm a complete success, I also will begin to support emotionally.

 

Sadly, there are many other forums that are as gloomy and desperate, if not more. Even in forums for acne (a cosmetic "only" problem), people with bad cases have posted about being suicidal.
