Tinnitus Since
Birth
Cause of Tinnitus
Benign tumour (osteoma on the C2)
Hello everyone, I'm Lydia. Well I guess I was born with it since I always thought it was a normal thing, until age 7 maybe where it got frustrating to the point I cried myself to sleep, my parents never took it seriously, but oh well there's no cure, right. Also I highly doubt that there are specialists where I live. So I just learned how to live with it and not think about it, because if I do, I'll get frustrated all over again, as I'm typing this my right ear rings -as always-, it's like those cripted channels on TV, the ones with a strong Whistling sound (get it?)
All this is caused by a benign tumour on my second vertebra, an osteoma that pressures my nerves. So yeah, I actually convinced myself that it's a normal thing, a part of myself, just like my hair, my nose, and it became a background noise, I force myself to stop focusing on it , and accept it fully at the same time in order to get over that anger and frustration phase (most of the time), it gets easier when I'm occupied...Sometimes when I can't forget it, I allow myself to listen to something.
Life is great as it is, there're no alternatives, it is what it has to be, we just have to realise it. So let's stop crying and envying the past,or others, because everyone has problems, and so do we, we're all on the same boat. With different perspectives, that's all. And move forward instead, be intelligent.

No, it's too dangerous they said since it's very close to my nerves, but as time passes, the pain reduces drastically !The T doesn't change

I am not sure why that is, but this is what my personal experience as well as the posts on this forum seem to indicate.

By the way, other parts of the body, like Knees Also take forever to heal. I used to have a bad knee, and it took close to two years before it had healed.
