I've had Musical Ear Syndrome for five years. I constantly hear a symphony and a choir for many voices. I have never heard such music before in my life. Year after year the music I hear is stronger. I work constantly on concentration and shift my focus so much on learning.

I don't listen to music / I used to love jazz / I don't listen or watch TV. A lot of people tell me that i speak very softly but to me my own voice sounds really loud. It feels like you've hit the bottom of a deep ocean with your head full of music.

I have a significant hearing loss, first of all, I cannot hear human speech. The hearing loss was probably a consequence of acute viral inflammation. Possibly also as a consequence of a serious head injury. Fall during equestrian jumping training.

I learned to lipread words and predict the sequence of questions, words, statements. I can't cope at all when someone has speech impediments or avoids eye contact.

@BIRDNAME, how old are you and did you ever try hearing aids?

Same symphony? Or does the music change?

The music keeps changing. Its intensity changes. Sometimes I don't even hear my own thoughts because it's so intense. It is rather enjoyable, but not always. Sometimes this concert is too loud.

Do you have profound hearing loss? Do you use hearing aids? I hope you're getting better, I have something similar but it's triggered by loud sounds, and the music will latch on.

When I learn new things intensively, I hear little or no music. I wear hearing aids, it doesn't make it easy for me to communicate.
