      @Alue
      You may want to try this app called sleep pillow - the owl icon . While most of the sounds are nothing very helpful for high frequncy T, one sound in particular has very high pitched but soft and fluctuating in volume ...it's the chimes sound. This has been a life saver literally I have been using this at nights for months and it calms my T almost like real crickets .
      Get a high quality earbud and you are all set - real crickets are going to die in a few weeks anyway

      What's the actual name of the app, I couldn't find it on android.
      I know, man... I'm not looking forward to it. Sigh.

      @Bobby B I have noise induced reactive t and h. You said that 80db is not a safe level for previously damaged ears.. Do you have an opinion on what is? X

      60 db is loud enough, don't see the need to subject your ears to more than that

      Is this 60db just until the ears 'heal' a little and then you can start exposing yourself to louder or is this a forever type thing

      Because ENTs are really clueless when it comes to T and H it's sadly that simple.

      As for your other question it was a few things that worsened me over the years,I developed T out of nowhere in January 2011.In February 2012 I went to my mates gig with hearing protection and got worse.On January 2014 I had an ear wax removal done by a complete idiot which caused a spike and the following day I was exposed to an extremely high pitched sound resulting in H.In January 2016 there were a few sound exposures that I thought nothing of that led to me worsening seven fold and now leaving me in the state I am in now.When I get time I'll make a more detailed post about where and when I was around apparent harmless amounts of noise but still worsened regardless.
