New from Indiana

I am new to this site. But I am curious how many people have to put up with the same thing I am living with. I have had T since 2012. Now it has gotten that it is very loud. Lucky it is only in my left ear otherwise i could probably not hear s____.

I had a hollow sound in my non T ear due to other issue so doctor said let's put tube in for that. So I had him put tube in the T ear as well. No help at all.

Anyway frustrated in Indiana

Tinnitus can be hard to cope with and the unwanted emotions it can cause.
Sorry to hear the tubes did not help you and hope the holes heel up soon so don't let any water get down them till they have.

According to reports, millions have tinnitus and many have intrusive T that bothers them. So you are not alone, especially here on TT. Most of us have been where you are. So we understanding the struggle you are having. Many people in our social circle have T. After I got T, I found out at least a dozen people I know have T. Even celebrities have T. If you google celebrities with tinnitus it is a long list, including famous people like Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, Barbara Streisand, Eric Clapton, Peter Townsend, David Letterman, William Shatner (Star Trek Capt.
