Hello everyone, had a long appointment today saw two ENT doctors including the top man, had another hearing test , no hearing loss but they wanted to check anyway!

I do not have Ménière's or vestibular migraine and nothing can be done for my tinnitus sadly, however I am being referred to a specialist for this, the balance problem has foxed them, especially my ability to not even be able to put one foot in front of the other, so a balance test next week, where hopefully they can find the cause.

I'm practically housebound and a danger to myself with these stumbles, the MRI scan was clear as well, so very sad that the tinnitus will stay as the volumes are unbearable but hopefully the specialist can give me some help, am now off betahistine as well as doing nothing for me!

Hopefully they can help with the balance, once you are more mobile you won't have sit down and listen to it all the time, keep us updated....

No Glynis , no other medication, but have been using alcohol to help with sleep as I can't stand these noises and volumes, the ENT Dr's have told me to stop this ( easily said) and use sleeping pills, which I have , so after Easter I will try them, but wish I could just lower the volume of this noise in my ears aaarrrggghh!
