      My tinnitus is in the right ear but in a few days, in a matter of seconds it starts in the left ear. When that happens I get paralyzed and the way it came, it's gone. It really scares me.

      Does anyone else have it?

      It does happen indeed for some people. I experience it very mildly, but I've read reports like yours in this forum, so you're not alone.

      It's a wellknown phenomenon, ENT's know about it, T moves from one ear to the other one, even if the other one is healthy. Don't worry about that. When T will subside, it will subside in both ears.

      It happens to me, too. The ear specialists I have seen felt it was fairly common. It has more to do with the brain than your good ear.

      Give it time @Jéssica Amorim and keep away from headphones. I believe your ears and auditory system will settle back down to normal. You are in the very early stages, and the best treatment is to do nothing. The ear is a very delicate organ so try to relax and carry on with your life. Use sound enrichment at night as I've suggested in my article: Tinnitus, A Personal View. If you are feeling stressed have a word with your GP. Your symptoms will get better but may take some time.

      @Jéssica Amorim
      I have right ear predominant T as well. and from my own experience it does in fact migrate to the left at times, I am currently awaiting a slot with an ENT surgeon as this is compounded with suspected conductive hearing loss. I would definitely encourage you to to read Micheal's post about tinnitus as he offers some very good advice which is based on his own experience. at the moment I am actually exploring sound enrichment in order to, hopefully, get a half decent nights sleep,

      Take care, and cherish the good days, they will help you through the days when things just don't seem so good.not only that, but if you observe those good days you might find clues as to how to reduce the effects T is having on your life.
