My buddy from Europe is 30 years old and has been playing guitar in various rock bands for years. His Tinnitus started a few years ago. He spent a lot of time and money going from one ear specialist to another, all trying some kind of miracle treatments that ended up failing or most of them just told him there was no cure. I told him to go to http://www.biohealing.us/ and give it a shot if he wanted to. The therapist treated him once (treatment is 15-30 mins, 4 days in a row). This was in the fall of last year. He claims the ringing in his ears is 100% gone. Now, there was no surgery, no chanting, no praying, herbs, vitamins, lights, lasers, pills, etc., he was not asked to change his lifestyle or anything.

Turns out a number people whose ailments were all incurable according to the specialists those people had been seeing have been successfully treated with the same method. Whether you believe in this or not matters not, but you must ask for the treatment. If you are forced by somebody, it will not work properly. I know it sounds a bit far fetched, but you can call or email the number there and speak to the therapist. She will explain what she does, and how she does it.

      That's nice.

"Conforming to the principles of quantum physics, Bioenergy is effectively practiced an inch or 10 thousand miles away from the client"

I guess there is no longer a need for any tinnitus research to be carried out, we can all be cured by Bioenergy right now... :)

The website is also presenting conflicting information, on one page it says it does not address illness but health, but on another page it says to address any illness. Which is it?

Anyway, I suppose we are going to be reading a number of headlines about Bioenergy, considering that it can supposedly address any illness.

      Thanks so much. Really intersting...!

I have a question: I looked at the list of treatments offered, but I could not find anything about ingrown toenails. I was wondering if that might be included as a possible condition which is also treated?

Lastly, since bioenergy also works at a distance, is there any chance we could - like - sign-up as a group of people, and perhaps get a discount?

      Thanks much.

I am not trying to convince anyone of anything, I can only tell you that this worked for my friend's tinnitus. He lives in Europe and was treated long distance. I am not saying this is a miracle cure or anything, but his ringing is gone. If you need particulars on it, send an email to the therapist or call her.

I don't know the answers to that. Send an email to the therapist and she can answer this.

This sounds very much like an advert, joining solely to post a link.

I believe that the name is not representative of the treatment, it should be called "placebo-healing".

I would ask then has it been subjected to proper tests? By this I mean impartial tests by non-interested parties and published in a peer reviewed journal?

The website shows a few pictures only, I can't see any evidence to back the claims up.

Quantum is a much used term to try and make things sound special. The reality is that we are dealing with the world of infinitesimally small things, particles that have strange properties that aren't yet properly understood by the most brilliant minds in the human race. I just can't believe that somebody down in Boca Raton has it all figured out, that they can tap into sub-atomic particles with the power of their mind.

I'm afraid that this is no different to a person working your aura or other such similar "techniques". It's one for James Randi I would think.

Sorry, didn't mean to offend anyone. I only gave an example of somebody I know who benefited from an alternative procedure or whatever you want to call it. It seems that everybody prefers to spend thousands of dollars on lasers, potions, vitamins and other miracle discoveries. I thought by posting this someone who has the same problem that my friend had and has not been able to get any results may benefit from it but it seems that everybody here is a specialist in quantum physics and tinnitus and found what I wrote offensive or ridiculous.

I am not a tinnitus specialist nor do I suffer from it. What I do know is that you cannot measure tinnitus, nor can one explain how you get it. What I do know is that my friend suffered from tinnitus for 5 years and nobody was able to cure him. He was referred to the therapist in Florida, she treated him and he is now fine. End of story.

If anyone has doubts, skepticism, criticism or anything else, I apologize for upsetting you with my posting and suggest you do not read it. You should try other treatments. I got my proof from my friend whom I have known for years. Any additional information, proof, publishings, books, research , I am sure that if you call the therapist, she will be able to provide it.

I think that this is the problem, you have posted a miracle discovery. We try and look for evidence but there isn't anything tangible here.

We aren't specialists, just well read people who have seen a fair few scams. And for the record, quantum physicists don't fully understand quantum physics, so again I struggle to see how this lady has them trumped there.

@Drew in many cases you can actually explain how you got tinnitus, I know exactly how I got mine.

To the rest of the posters on this thread - I agree it all sounds wildly sketchy and unproven, and yes, this member just joined and doesn't have tinnitus so that doesn't necessarily bode well either. However, do we have to be so mocking? The way this person was responded to was not very kind. Even if someone is peddling snake-oil, we do not need to fall to that level. We can respond with respect and send them on their way.

The jokes etc. are really disappointing and unnecessary.

For those interested in how scams work, here is a worthwhile video by James Randi (the ultimate skeptic).

(It is hard to believe that such events ever took place - and it is hard to believe that there were (and still are) people who believe in psychic healing).

As for the bioenergy, here is the person who "trained" the owner of the website above (e.g. http://www.biohealing.us/)

Here is the list of "diseases" treated (from the owner of the website):
      "Autism", "male problems", "epilepsy"...? Seriously...?

I don't even know what a "male problem" is - but, I have an idea...

I can't please everyone. Not all of the time, at least.
