Sex and Tinnitus

Does anyone have such a trend that example today have sex and the next morning their tinnitus will be louder and perhaps moderate tinnitus for another day or two?

 

Answering that question is incriminating but no..no correlation 4 me

 

sex is a good thing,a stress reliever,one of the great healers in life..and it keeps you young and content,if any it provides a calming effect and is just what is needed for tinnitus, a stimulant !

 

1-2 times/day make it worse >6 times /day make it better
It has explanation but it is very complicated.

 

its a shame its not available unless you are in a relationship then!

 

I don't think there is a relation... you're probably very anxious and checking for tinnitus constantly and think u found something.... the best to deal with tinnitus is to ignore it!

 

Anyone can comment? I just want to be sure.

tinnitus, at least in some cases, has clear connections to hormone regulation, and your sexual activity obviously impacts that. So, when people tell me that sex makes their T worse or that excessive masturbation caused their T, I believe it.

Sex makes me feel better; I almost never think about the T while in the act, and I've never noticed any spikes as a result. We're all different, though!

 

@Thongjy I find that it's a great distraction and if I can hear T afterwards I think...Who cares? I just had sex!! Haha

It depends on the person you had sex with, I'd say.

 

Masturbating has been has been less satisfying since tinnitus. Usually when I finished I'd just lie in a daze for like 15 minutes afterwards just soaking in the good feeling and often just fall asleep. Now the good feeling doesn't last so long because I immediately get annoyed by the sound and think how much better I'd feel if it wasn't there.

Actually used to spend most spare thoughts throughout the day thinking of sex, and was very relieving to release all that tension after each day. Now it's just thinking about tinnitus and I can't relieve that.

About volume, it has no effect. Nothing has ever had an effect on my volume since the beginning, except yawning makes one tone louder. It's the same volume all the time, but my perception and feelings towards it vary.

Mine definitly does! Especially after an intense experience, not straight away but around a minute after climax my hearing almost goes completely & replaced by the T. It's worth it though

 

@Kopesy That is easy to explain. The blood supplying the ear, which is not much, while the whole blood circulation changes during sex, abandons the ear for a while, so after you return to baseline and your brain is no longer under the climax impression and returns to normal functioning and able to pay attention to other stuff, you have time to observe that, because the blood didn't have time to return to regular parameters in the ear, you are death and with T, luckily just temporarily.

 

Oh just go have sex already!

For some the T may spike, for some the T may dissipate...who cares?

Sex is a terrible thing to waste!!!

 

I get terrible Tinnitus straight after. My mrs usually goes mad and shouts right in my face " thats another 8 seconds of my life wasted" and sets it off again

 

I was thinking Viagra might help with blood flow to the ears since its an effective vasodilator.

 

Does after having sex increase your T?

 

This is, without a doubt, always a fascinating topic - but it's somewhat connected to a common experience for many of us with tinnitus -- that the moments after strenuous exercise, our tinnitus (or at least, our perception of tinnitus) grows substantially louder. I suspect that there are both inflammatory and chemical reasons for this, and ultimately, because sex and masturbation are often cited as tinnitus triggers by many cases anecdotally, it's too common of a connection to simply dismiss as pure coincidence. Unfortunately, there is very little real scholarship that has been done here and most of the work around this has dwelt in the realm of pseudo-science: namely, herbalism and alternative medical practices.

 

I took Viagra for my ears, ended up looking like an African Elephant.

Viagra and Cialis for that matter other sexual drugs can have awful results for T and H.
The side effects include possible hearing and seeing problems so you must see your doctor right away.
Dont do it! Goggle natural sex enhancing vitamins and minerals they work and wont blow away whats left of your hearing! Simply stated those drugs are not healthy.

 

I believe we should do a trial! So who's first with me lol!

It depends on the position for me. Not going to be shy about it. Sometimes after I orgasm it can pick up. Try not to think about it.
