Not life changing...but may just give you a few minutes peace.

I just realised that singing to yourself quietly (badly in my case...) or humming a tune is actually a great distraction technique.

      Give it a go.

      Sing until you're winning.
      Peace
      X

I sing all of time, when I'm alone of course, lol.

I used to go to a Karaoke bar in our town just for fun. I never once mustered up enough courage to get up and participate, though. Some of the singers were very good, I was impressed several times.

I sometimes sing when I get out of the shower if I don't want to deal with my t showing up.

"Well the rain falls down without my help I'm afraid
And my lawn gets wet though I've withheld my consent
When this grey world crumbles like a cake
I'll be hanging from the hope
That I'll never see that recipe again
As I walk, I think about a new way to walk
As I think, I'm using up the time left to think
And this train keeps rolling off the track
Trying to act like something else
Trying to go where it's been uninvited"

Sorry, this is what I sing.

I love to sing. In the shower. In the car. I sing to my cat Riley. She tolerates me.

Thank the stars above for our pets, they are tolerant and they love us no matter what.:) :puppykisses:

Riley loves your singing, I just know it.

There’s nothing quite like the unconditional love and loyalty we receive from our animal loved ones.

I think you so right @Tracy. I was talking to someone today that prefers animals to people. She is a Grandmother. Her husband passed away some time ago. She has a cat and a dog and they get on fabulously and says they show her a lot of love. She has three children, from 40s to 50s who she gets along with well, but they don't get along with each other which upsets her a lot but nothing she can do.
