Slime Is Running from My Ears to My Mouth?!

I have this feeling that slime is running into my mouth or at least something watery!

The ENT also saw that and said that's weird! I did a 3 day steroid course of prednisone but this feeling was BEFORE that and not a little later after the onset of my tinnitus!

Also I am going to an TMJ specialist to see if it might be my jaw! Just to be sure!

Your general family practitioner can give you a steroidal nasal spray which can help. Also you can use a steam inhaler once or twice a day with menthol crystals. These have worked wonders for me. Also you can apply a saline cleansing of your sinuses. You can find examples of the latter on YouTube.

I got my eustachian tube looked at with a camera and she said everything seems normal! But this was BEFORE my new ENT! I used nasal Spray and it didn't really help me!

I will try those things!

 

So it's early in the morning and suddenly I do not have a high pitched sound anymore but a low pitched screech and my right ear is hurting! It feels like it wants to let fluid free?!

What is going on?!
I didn't do anything yesterday out of the ordinary!

I also feel like my hyperacusis got worse...!

 

Oh slime - the green goo! Brings back great memories from the late 1970's.

I can still remember the smell of it.

 

I dont suppose your GP explained the proper way to use a nasal spray for eustachian tubes? Most won't because even they don't know. But I can tell you the proper way to use the spray and it works, eustachian tube is what caused my tinnitus and an old GP showed me the proper way. I can explain.

Standing up tilt your head downward a bit as if looking at a spot on the floor out in front of you. Put the nasal spray into your nostril, don't push it all the way to your brain as this will bypass the opening to the tube. Let's say it's your right nasal, slightly point the spray towards your ear and spray. DO NOT sniff it, let it go by itself by breathing normal. Do this three times per day or as prescribed. I didn't use a steroid spray. I used a antibiotic spray. It took a couple of weeks to clear the tube, but it was too late thanks to the GP who didn't notice the infection, with that the tinnitus came on.
