SoundBlazer — Parametric Speaker for Masking?

      Now that is a fun looking toy.

      The only problem is the focused beam so when you move you lose the audio. When the tech comes down in price it will be perfect for masking gadgets where only you need to hear the sound. Actually it's ideal for masking in something like an office so you don't need headphones but won't bother anybody else.

      It doesn't say but looking at the design I guess it mono mixes the audio source?

      There's already demos where a walking person is being tracked by cameras and a targeted sound beam follows the sorry person with advertising messages... :)
