...was not a band name I was thinking of forming...(reference to the title)

I am wondering of the science/evidence behind spikes from noise that shouldn't harm, but due to our sensitive states do.

I say this as I am spiking from momentary exposure to a neighbours lawnmower and have previously spiked from a shower!

What I want to know is:
(1) are these spikes resolvable as the noise isn't objectively harmful?
(2) Should we protect against these noises?

I'm at a crossroads and not wanting to always overprotect, but spiking no noises which shouldn't be that harmful...

All feedback welcome, as usual!

Thanks community

Do not overprotect, but protect enough not to cause further harm..as I mentioned in previous thread, I used to wear electronic earmuffs that cut out anything above 60DB (I think) and they did a good job.
