Has anyone's T that was related to stress went away when they didn't have that stress anymore? Or did it stay forever?

I have a HUGE spike today from a very stressful day and obviously afraid it will never go back down to baseline.

Hi Marie79,
Stress just feeds tinnitus and ramps it up.
Off loading stress and relaxation, nice walk, relaxing bath and talking therapy are just some things to help stress.
Your tinnitus will settle the calmer and relaxed you are .
My tinnitus ( my naughty monkeys) are playing up at the moment as this week holds alot of sad memmories of this time last year) but trying make new ones and not dwell on the past.
Stay positive like myself it will settle and a few nice treats to keep your chin up....lots of love glynis

If stress related T spikes were permanent, every T sufferer would have a monster in his/her ears by now as everyone is exposed to stress from time to time.

So I'd recommend to do something about the anxiety that a spike causes to you. Spikes like this will never be permanent.
