I have had tinnitus for decades. It incrementally increases every year. I do my best to take care of my hearing, but I still like to go out and meet up with friends.

Yesterday, I went to a sports bar. It was an open air environment (COVID-19 compliant) but still very noisy. I always bring earplugs to those situations.

Inevitably, the next day, my ears ring louder. Sometimes I take magnesium when I get home because I have heard that helps.

But I wonder if there is anything else I can do decrease the louder ringing induced from being in a loud environment the day before.

Does anyone have suggestions that they’ve tried and ACTUALLY WORKS for them?

      Thanks!
