A few months ago I started not being able to hear out of one of my ears due to a buildup of earwax -- I didn't want to go to the doctor's, so I got an at-home Debrox kit, one that comes with some drops and an ear syringe. After using the syringe (which did nothing to help the earwax) my ear started ringing and has not stopped. It's been months now. I haven't seen a doctor about this, like I said I really don't want to go to the doctor. The earwax cleared up on its own a while after I stopped using the kit. If only I hadn't used the kit at all, i would have cleared up on its own and I wouldn't even have tinnitus! Ugh. I'm in my early 20s and the ringing is constant. Is this ever going to go away? Did I damage my ear with the ear syringe? The box said to use the syringe gently but I squeezed the bulb as hard as I could quite a few times in hopes of blasting the earwax out. Sorry if this is gross hahaha, too much detail about earwax. But yeah, the constant ringing is REALLY bothering me. I can't imagine living with it for the rest of my life.
