Tinnitus and Anxiety

I don't know whether my tinnitus is caused by stress, or Stress is a byproduct of tinnitus.

But why my neck feels heavy sometimes ? Also I feel anxious, especially when I am doing something full of excitement such as playing video games. Anyone experienced this ?

Unfortunately, it's a bit of a vicious cycle; some of us become aware of mild tinnitus, which stresses us out. The stress and anxiety causes us to pay more attention to it (we tune into it), and then we notice it more. And so on.

My own experience is that mine is worse when stressed, and my own habituation has involved regarding this as an "interesting" effect rather than one which causes me great anxiety. This usually allows me to be easily distracted from it, and get back to work, reading, or whatever I'm doing.

I haven't had the neck thing.
