Hi everyone! I have been experiencing ringing in my ears for about 3 months now and I have been taking Lexapro 20 mg for about 4 months.

Has anyone ever had this problem?

If so can you tell me if it goes away in time.

      Thank you very much.

Welcome to the forum. Lexapro is known to cause tinnitus as a side effect. Perhaps switch to another less ototoxic AD.

It is hard to predict what tinnitus will do over time. There are many success stories of members whose conditions have improved. If you stay calm and relax, then there will be less stress and therefore less severe tinnitus. If your T is from taking Lexapro, then consider switching to other safer ADs. Take care. God bless.

As @billie48 said, talk to your doctor about switching medications. It is quite frequent for T to subside after you discontinue the T-causing meds.

Be sure to taper slowly off your anti depressant, you don't want to risk withdrawal.
