Hey guys! So I've had a sinus infection for a while which I didn't really treat, and occasionally my left ear would be full over the last few months. I moved into a new house two weeks ago. Randomly the other day, as I went to bed I realized my left ear was ringing. It was a high pitch sound, and I started to get anxious. Then I noticed it didn't really go away yet, but it's slightly lower pitch now. Like a medium pitch hissing, sort of like when you stand right next to a TV or something else technology related. Not sure if it's gotten better since Day 1, or if I've just gotten more use to it, but the first day it made me extremely anxious.

My question is, what can I do to fix it and/or stop it from getting worse. It seems the tricky ones are the noise-induced, trauma related ones. Thankfully I haven't had noise trauma. BUT I've seen some people on this forum had it start with a cold/sinus infection, and it ended up being longer term. REALLY hoping I can avoid that. I've upped my daily amount of turmeric and other anti-inflammatory stuff. It seems to be better when I go out / leave the house.

Also at home now, I notice other high pitch sounds more. Maybe from outside, or something inside. Is that a symptom of my ear? Or am I just noticing more background sounds since I'm overly-focused on the sound in my ear?

Any advice would be super appreciated. I just feel like this is fixable, and don't want to wait too long and regret it in the long run.

P.S. Not sure if this makes ANY difference, but my new house has like 5 smart meters attached to it. I've read that those have a lot of EMF and the main side effect is tinnitus. Not sure I believe that stuff, maybe it's just woohoo talk. I don't know to be honest. Maybe the combination of my vulnerable sinus/ear from the infection, combined with that? Because I've had the sinus infection for months, but this only started a few days after moving into the new house. Let me know what you guys think!
