For me it is not tht much the loudnes than the frequency that gives me spikes. It can be very loud and no difference. But it can be very low and still make my hed explode(like my monitor spekers, which i use at lowest volume). So i don't know what to think of it either. And it is constantly changing during the day. And i have observed that it is very much connected with my anxiety level. And doing lots of aerobic exercises help alot also.

But i think too that we should not avoid life. That just makes things more difficult and you focus more on T ... which is bad,

if u think about it, when you are asleep if u get any sleep at all do u ever hear the tinnitus?, I don't. so I am thinking why is it when I am asleep I don't hear it. maybe researchers can look at how our ear is functioning during sleep & hopefully that can lead to a cure. I am hoping mine goes away & is just a result of physical inactivity & poor diet.

You don't hear it because it is a brain issue. It is not your ears that make the sound. They might just be the cause.
