After taking magnesium citrate and zinc citrate for about 3 days my tinnitus has spiked.

This is my worst spike ever that makes me sleep only for about 3 to 4 hrs.

I'm scared now and sometimes my body shaken and got some headache due to luck of sleep.

Has anybody experienced something like this?

How long did the spike last?

Please give some advice cause yesterday while I'm praying I cried and cried.

      Robert

      hi everyone,
I have loud tinnitus for more than a week until now and sleepless at night although I take melatonin but I still have struggle for sleeping. And because of magnesium citrate and zinc citrate that I took last week then it started my tinnitus spike and there are days that my tinnitus is more louder and I sometimes cannot handle it and made myself panic and felt my body shaken and it comes to my self suicide but i'm afraid.

      please need help and advice,

      Thanks,
      Robert

I've been living with this affliction for more than 30 years and I'm still on the planet. If I survived this long with it, you're going to make it too, my friend!

@Robert18 how are you doing? Did your spike go back down? I've had spikes that scared me half to death, so I sympathize. But they go back down eventually. Let us know how you're doing!

I've tried every kind of magnesium and they all cause spikes, which is weird cuz it's spozed to help. I just read on this forum somewhere about chelated magnesium. I'm going to be brave and try it, will report back about any spikes or if none.

      Hang in there Robert!

Btw lots of foods are high in magnesium: yogurt, almonds, cashews, peanuts, sunflower seeds, Brazil nuts, bananas. Dark Chocolate!!! And no spikes.

      @Bartek

I'm sorry that I replied late because I was in a vacation from march to april,
any way during my t spiked because of taking magnesium citrate and zinc citrate and after two weeks it goes down but it didn't back to baseline but at least i'm okay now.

      goodluck and god bless,
      Robert

Hey, I just started using Floradix magnesium to try and resolve Middle Ear Myoclonus - which it did mostly. However, it also seems to have coincided with a new tinnitus tone which also includes constant slight crackling too for 3 days now, although I'm not sure if that's from the magnesium or the Middle Ear Myoclonus.

Does anyone take Osteocare for its magnesium, zinc and other minerals? It doesn't say on any of the information I've seen just what type of magnesium they use.
