Tinnitus Started After 4th Day of Amoxicillin

I started having diarrhea and tinnitus after 4th day of taking Amoxicillin 3 times a day for dental infection. I stopped after 6 days today. My tinnitus still doesn't stop.

Does anyone know what I should do?

 

Wait it out. Most likely your T is caused from the medication or inflammation from the infection.It may take weeks for the T to stop, but you will most likely be just fine.

 

I think my tinnitus started because I was deaf in one ear due to a wax impaction which went undiagnosed for a while..........but my tinnitus also started after one day of amoxcillin. Amoxcillin is not one of the known ototoxic antibiotics, like gentamycin, but I did wonder whether there was a connection

 

@Sharon Zhou Hi Sharon! Still having tinnitus? I'm having tinnitus most likely caused by an infection in my wisdom tooth and perhaps the penicillin I took for it?
