      Since you guys seem to be into good TV, just thought I'd shoot you guys a heads up if you aren't already watching this, incredible show! Never cared too much for Matthew McConaughey, but the guy has been on a tear lately with the roles he's been playing and this definitely made me a big fan.

      Awesome show (me being a big fan of shows like The Wire, Sopranos, etc.). The first three eps were kind of slow, but still excellent tv and great character development. The fourth episode has so far been my favorite.

      Yesterday the fifth episode aired, will watch it tonight.

      Also worth noting is that it uses the anthology format... I don't think the cast of the second season has yet been announced, but it will be a completely different cast & story.

      This was a great scene by the way :D

      Yes, all seasons were the kind of TV you couldn't wait next week's episode for.

      However, I think the show aged really well and each season became better than the previous. You really should watch the rest of the series -- one season doesn't do it justice.

      Hell yeah buddy! The Wire and Sopranos are two of my all time favourite shows, don't know which I rate higher though, always been a toss up between the two. I'm all over Boardwalk Empire too but the next season is their last so that's a bit of a bummer.

      Anyways, agree about the pacing of the first 3 eps, but they really kicked it up with the 4th - can't wait to see where they go with it.

      Yeah won't be on free to air here for a long, long time. I watch everything on my computer now though, haven't used the TV in a very long time - if you don't have Foxtel, you'll be able to find it somewhere online pretty easily, well worth it!

      I'm on episode 4. It's a bit of a dark, grey, depressing style but it is a very good show. Will continue to follow this.

      Definitely worth watching all the seasons of breaking bad. Prison break and The shield are both worth it as well. Any Sons of anarchy fans here?

      Breaking Bad is my seond favorite series of all time, after Six Feet Under. I still am in a funk, now that its over. Don't think BB ever had a bad season...the acting was amazing, the character development great.

      I am starting to warm to True Detective and agree

      Only one episode left.

      True Detective's first season has been epic, it's only become better as it's progressed.

      Matthew McConaughey deserves all the Oscars that comes his way.

      Yeah, SoA is another great show, as was The Shield.

      I'm going to miss SoA once it ends, one season left. :( But it has had a good run and you have to end on a high note.

      And I remember Kurt Sutter is planning a prequel series, that could be interesting.

      havent seen true detective yet but it looks awesome. I like to wait till all the episodes are out and watch them one after an another haha. If you guys had to rate your top 5 shows what would they be? Im looking to see if theirs anything i haven't seen or considered.
