      Hello!

This is quite recent, it happened like 2 months ago after years of hyperacusis and tinnitus. Now when I open my jaw wide, there is a tinnitus increase on the left side, a sustained beep, but I cannot really locate the source of the problem. The jaw does now click or sounds in any way, so I don't know if it comes from the jaw or the throat or neck area.

Does this happen to anyone else?

I went to a physiotherapist, ENT etc but they cannot tell what is the exact origin of this new tinnitus sound. Fortunately, I only hear it when I yawn.

My big worry is: could this be due to some tumor, or schwannoma.,. just for the record, I had a CAT scan like 1 year ago and it was fine. I guess in case of tumor or schwannoma it would pop up on the CAT image results.

      Thanks for reading!

Somatosensory nervous system involvement I'd say.
