      for the last week or so I have been having the worse coughing fits, doctor thinks i might have whooping cough but either way my tinnitus is louder and it has been since I first started with this virus.
      It was quite mild before but now it's a constant like computer noise and it's horrible and I've no idea if it will go back to what it used to be.
      Doctor said it could be because of all my coughing and if stuff is inflamed but when i get better is it likely to subside?

      Also been given some cough syrup with codiene in, not sure how this will affect it?

      Hi Amy,
      Coughing is a natural reaction to moving mucous in our lower airways or even throat irritation and Asthma allergies.
      The mucous in our airways or virus in our system is enough to get a tinnitus spike and should settle down again soon....lots of love glynis

      @Hariz Nonis ,
      It could be due to ETD and tubes opening at the same time .
