Went to see ELO last night. Was very concerned about how it would affect my tinnitus. I wore earplugs. Only took them out of the non-tinnitus right ear for my favorite songs. Volume in left tinnitus ear seems a bit lower today. Only thing I changed yesterday was not having coffee in the afternoon. I did have green tea extract, which gives just as nice a boost in energy. Gaia herbs brand green tea extract.

I'm also trying to incorporate apple cider vinegar 3x a day.

I really started feeling how much coffee was affecting my brain. I felt more pressure inside my head after drinking coffee. Only way I can deal without coffee is with the green tea extract.

Lady you are playing with FIRE!!

My friend who has T went to a concert recently too...she only used her hands to cover her T (LOL)...I asked her if Taylor Swift was "worth it", she's like...not really. Her T did not increase though!

My t is Klonopin withdrawal induced. It really didn't affect my T at all. I'm still going to protect my ears. I have another concert this month. I have second row for Zebra! I'm not so afraid now.

You're very fortunate to have a friend who knows what you're going through.

I'm more likely to attend an outdoor venue than indoor. Acoustics.

I think outdoors would be much safer. Not only can the sound dissipate but you can control how close you are to the speakers. I would still advice hearing protection though.

Great you wore earplugs. If you want to enjoy your music get some professional musician plugs or custom so it reduces the volume but doesn’t reduce how beautiful music can be. That way you don’t need to remove them.

Take regular breaks and don’t sit near the front. Enjoy!

Went to another concert last weekend. We saw Zebra from the second row. No earplugs this time and no change to the volume of the T. My T isn't affected by sound. It started as a result of Klonopin withdrawal. Not sure how to make this type of Tinnitus stop.

I suggest that you do some research. Tinnitus or not, people should be wearing ear plugs at concerts. Even if yours is not a result of hearing damage, it very much could end up that way.

Just because yours started from benzodiazepines doesn’t mean you don’t have hearing loss, Tinnitus is a very complex condition.

I've been to several concerts post tinnitus always with ear protection. The smaller gigs are the loudest sometimes.
