    Ear fluttering sounds like TTTS rather than hyperacusis. I have both but experience TTTS myself sometimes to voices or typing and sometimes individual thumps spontaneously without external sounds. But, some sounds are perceived excessively louder than they really are due to hyperacusis.

    Sorry to hear that. I've heard from Dirk de Ridder that either N or T-type calcium channel blockers (I don't remember which one he said) can worsen tinnitus. Amlodipine also blocks N-type calcium channels so maybe the worsening is because of that. I don't have TTTS.

    ...detector incident? My T is really squealing today, seems worse than usual squealing days, and hyperacusis is worse today. And for first time, keyboard typing is causing my TTTS instead of just voices. I haven't had any incidents /exposures that I would have expected anything. Lots of anxiety.

The fullness is gone, TTTS is 90% gone. Headaches and pain are 90% gone. I also had a pretty loud angle grinder sound which is quiet now.

    I at times experience something similar in response to voices where I will hear it in my left ear. It's TTTS. I describe it as a fluttering or thumping, but someone might call that a wind sound. And keyboards are known to trigger some people with TTTS.

    Hyperacusis Cured/Reduced by Clomipramine

    ...in darkness or when I close my eyes. I guess it started sometime when I was on 150 mg. It is relatively mild, so it's easy to ignore. All other side effects stopped the week I stopped the medication. Overall, I've had a great experience with Clomipramine. It did not affect my tinnitus and TTTS.
