MDMA is a dangerous drug to use if it's not from a medical professional. I've used it recreationally, and while I enjoyed it there are many stories of people suffering nerve damage and such from it. I don't think it would be a suitable T treatment.

Forget MDMA crap. The fact is that even if it works, you could use it only 2-3 times per year. And if you are not in a good mood, this could screw you up for a long time. Most of the time, you'll not even know what you are taking.

I see that MDMA has been tried for the use of other conditions as well. So are they going to start with Phase I, eg. testing on heatlhy patients without tinnituss, or go straight to testing on tinnitus? If it has been used before in other trials then Phase I probably isnt needed?

If his tinnitus has a strong TMJ component, then I'd gather that was the issue. MDMA, particularly in high dosages, can cause bruxism and a sore jaw for many days afterwards.

There are anecdotal reports of permanent or long term spikes in T from MDMA usage. Be careful. It eliminates my ringing entirely while I'm on the drug, but it comes right back and the day or two after may be louder than usual.
