Apparently there is a study showing that Levetiracetam has been used to treat people suffering from middle ear myoclonus. It makes sense to me that it eliminated my TTTS... this is my 3rd day or so with absolutely no spasms.

A very slight popping sound in my right ear. Consistent but intermittent. Can't find a trigger. It's really quiet. Like a light pop or a click but it doesn't seem like myoclonus. Almost like something is wet in there. Driving me nuts particularly at night.

It is completely random. And it is ever so quiet. Just a very soft click almost. No trigger than I can tell but my ear has been "popping" more than usual. It doesn't seem to fit the bill of myoclonus and feels more like a tube issue. It's terribly annoying.

I also get a vibrating sound, usually before going to sleep, but it is only in my right ear. I feel as though it's a muscle vibrating somewhere near there, and it only happens if I don't 100% relax my facial and neck muscles.

I think the botox shot for the roof of the mouth is for palatal myoclonus not sure it would work for the tensor tympani muscle.

None of that came back, i just got palatal myoclonus, which completely reversed any progress I made with the tinnitus.

Aren't they the same thing?

Thankfully my tinnitus isn't affected by foods however I try to stay away from crunchy foods like Cheetos since it sometimes it makes my myoclonus act up.

It's probably Tensor Tympani Syndrome. You can probably make it happen at will (Not permanently) by yawning too hard. Middle ear Myoclonus is more of a popping sound.
