In case anyone finds this thread later, +1 data point: I just had an episode of low hum fleeting T, for the first time ever (my fleeting T has always been high tones). It resolved without issue, but it did scare the bejeezus out of me.

good question, i'd say it happened maybe two times, which is in line with how often i had it since i got tinnitus. probably even less often. i noticed though that the fleeting t frequency and pitch were much lower than before (it did not 'jar' me, as most high pitched fleeting t used to).

Looks like you are another COVID-19 vaccine victim. Did you have fleeting tinnitus occurrences before? Your tinnitus might subside once the vaccine effect is over.

What a boneless dog you are @Damocles! :P My experience is any type of thick hoodies aggravates the fleeting tinnitus episodes. Especially in rooms with fans or noises. So everything is worth thinking about to avoid those happy times...
