Elon Musk’s Neuralink Looking to Treat Tinnitus

Brain implants and similar ideas have been dangled in front of tinnitus sufferers for decades. None of them have worked—if they had, we would have heard about it. People use different methods to manage their tinnitus, but actually banishing it or curing it? There is zero scientific evidence...

I just read a comment from someone in response to an entirely different topic, and I decided to try it. To my surprise, the loud volume of my screaming tinnitus went down significantly. Ear Pressure and Pain After a Restroom Hand Dryer and Child Screaming

Yes, I remember that from the beginning of my journey. I have healed somewhat for now, but I would never want to go through that again. I do not envy you. It took about eight months for me to reach a more normal state. Seriously, try using cotton wool and a very quiet TV with subtitles...

Ear Pressure and Pain After a Restroom Hand Dryer and Child Screaming

This is so frustrating. I have no idea how I’m supposed to make this better. My ear burns even when I sit in silence with earplugs and earmuffs on, and it burns even worse if I take them off and still remain in silence. Am I just supposed to let it burn and hope it eventually gets better? It...

Does Ear Fullness = Hearing Loss?

You have hearing loss. Acoustic trauma, followed by tinnitus, hyperacusis, and a sensation of ear fullness, are all signs of damage to the hearing cells. A standard audiogram performed by an audiologist, which typically includes only 6 or 8 data points, is often insufficient to detect this...
