Among all the therapies I have tried, there were sophrology, hypnosis, and cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia. None of them helped. I am considering trying cognitive behavioral therapy specifically for tinnitus, or possibly EMDR. I am not sure yet.

Okay, fast forward from my earlier comment about my tinnitus volume decreasing with the breath-holding technique. It did lower the volume, but only for a couple of minutes before returning to baseline. So much for that. Never mind. :(
