I'm not the President, Biden is. If he can not find a way to do something, then he is a failure.

In 2020, America elected a man who they believed would be better than Trump, yet he is failing to get enough people vaccinated, even though the supplies are plentiful. The Democrats blamed Trump for the COVID-19 deaths, but now that there has been a vaccine, thanks to Operation Warp Speed, for six months, the situation is still not good. It's time to start looking at this man's abilities because they appear to be very deficient. Biden has been the President for the past six months - more than enough time to do this most important task correctly. I think that we should start admitting that BIDEN is responsible for most of the deaths since the vaccine has been available. I would say that he should be impeached, but I can't because the person who would replace him, is not even qualified to be VP, let alone President.

 

You said it, supplies are readily available. Anyone in America can walk into a pharmacy and get the vaccine on demand. Biden did his job.

For real man, do you think Joe Biden should try to pass a vaccine mandate? Because unless you want people to be forced, making it free, widely available and widely promoted is all one can do. It’s not Democrats who are against vaccine mandates, it’s people like Desantis in Florida doing everything in his power to make sure you feel no social pressure to get vaccinated.

 

I have no idea how he is supposed to do it, he has advisors, experts, and professionals on hand to help with that - and he is failing. In January, when Biden was sworn in, slightly before the vaccine started becoming widely available, there were 400,000 deaths in the U.S. Now that there has been a vaccine for six months, the deaths have risen to over 600,000 people - about a 50% increase since Biden took office. This is about the same death rate as before the vaccine.

WTF is wrong with this administration? Are they all completely incompetent, or brain dead?

What about Senate Bill 2006? DeSantis approved it and it definitely appears to allow forced vaccination. You people enable police states. Hopefully, enough people out there will resist you authoritarian horde.

No one can force you to get vaccinated. You have the right to decide what you think is best for you.

 

We now have members who think it funny that there are unvaccinated old, sick, and mentally confused people who are still dying from COVID-19 in American hospitals and nursing homes, due to a corrupt and inept administration which they supported in the last election. You can't make this sort of thing up.

If somebody came on here and laughed about the deaths in India, the Middle East, China, Europe, Africa, or virtually any other country, they would be condemned. Not the U.S., though. You can say anything, no matter how heartless and inhumane, about problems in America, and it's perfectly acceptable to the left.

 

I believe that most of those unvaccinated Americans who are dying from COVID-19, especially now with the highly transmissible Delta variant, are very old. Many of them aren't mentally equipped to make an informed decision about the virus and require competent medical advice. They need to be told that their lives are in danger and the vaccine is the best way to remedy this.

If Trump was in office right now, and the number of deaths was still this high, even with the availability of vaccines, there would be a huge public outcry, and demonstrations in the streets, blaming his administration. Why are the same people silent about Biden? Is the Biden administration exempt from criticism by mainstream media, and the left? Apparently, it is.

 

You are just trying to turn and twist your political argument into something credible, although you have absolutely no basis to do that.

It is amazing that on a forum full of people with tinnitus and hyperacusis, where some people have told us how they've worsened by getting the vaccine, there are still people like you who advocate for compulsory vaccination and not freedom of choice.

The percentage of people who claim that their tinnitus became worse from the vaccine, which may be short-lived and is not as much of a risk as having COVID-19 is, for tinnitus, is minuscule. Billions of people have received this vaccine, and if it actually caused or worsened tinnitus, to a significant percentage for those who received the vaccine, this website would be swamped with new members, numbering in the tens of thousands if not more, which has not happened.

Well seeing how employers have been given allowance to force employees to be vaccinated our freedom of choice is now at the discretion of our employers, or else be unemployed.

It depends on your employer here. Some hand out raises, some don't. But it's usually a standard 3% to cover "inflation."

 

I would suggest trying a massive education program, which targets the feeble-minded, the interned, those with dementia, and the under-educated. The VP, rather than writing about why there is a border problem, should be on the front lines, visiting hospitals and nursing homes, urging people to get vaccinated.

The third thing that Biden must do, is secure the border to the level that Trump did, to prevent unvaccinated people from entering illegally, and spreading COVID-19 to the states where they end up, which is currently happening.

That's pretty crazy. It is equivalent to asking people to provide proof that they are healthy. It's just ridiculous.

Actually the idea of forcing young and healthy people to get vaccinated is just crazy. Here in Spain several people in their 30s died as a result of getting vaccinated. Their families must be devastated. Now, no one can be held responsible for their deaths. Of course pharma companies will not take responsibility or compensate and the government does not want to hear anything about it...

I know many young people (3os - 50s) that have overcome COVID-19 with absolutely no issues, and have not set foot in a hospital. They just had like a cold, flu, the usual 10 days of feeling rough.

Why should these people, who are very low risk population, rush to get vaccinated, getting into a macabre lottery where a few of them (very few, but some) could die as a result?

 

What you are saying is you would like your government to force people to get vaccinated. Or "encourage" them, or "urge" them... deep down you are saying you want the government to interfere with people's freedom of choice, which does not sound very democratic, and not very constitutional either...

If you get your way, in which large numbers of people refuse to be vaccinated, you can enjoy watching the bodies being taken away in large trucks, the way it happened in NYC which was the first major death place for COVID-19 before the vaccine.

They are few and far between, and of course, those who in this minority should not take them.

A number of people just do not give a damn about others and oppose anything and everything that doesn't suit their particular belief system. We have a few of these noxious types, and in some cases they are very obnoxious as well, right here on this website, and on this thread.

 

Germany is just requiring tests to go into restaurants and generally indoors. That seems reasonable. Healthy people can get in, and people testing positive for COVID-19 have to quarantine. Tests are free. There's also the option of just not going to those places for a while. COVID-19 is not going to last forever. It shall pass and go away in time.

In Asia people have been wearing masks for decades to protect others when they are sick or have flu. Or they just stay home.

Governments do not need to interfere with people's freedom of choice. Citizens have the right to decide about their own health. So they should be able to decide whether they want to get vaccinated or not.

I think an employer requiring vaccination for all employees would be breaking the constitution, at least in my country. That's completely illegal.
