Amoxicillin... Enquiries Please :)

Hi all,

I'm about to be required to start a two week course of amoxicillin (500mg tabs x2 daily, for two weeks).

Usual concerns etc....is this going to be ok for my T? Is it too toxic in any shape or form and is a course that long and strong dangerous to my already exisiting T?

Im also wanting to take some Tumeric instead of anti inflammatory counter meds, anyone had experience with this?

Anyone out there had a spike from amoxicillin or tumeric?

Amoxil is safe i believe
Have taken lots of tumrric. Never had a spike from it

 

I've read amoxicillin is the safest antibiotic there is (regarding ototoxicity). Don't worry...

 

Im on it..have been 3 times..im fine.

875 mg twice a day for 10 days... Now going down to 500 mg twice a day for a few days just to make sure my sinuses are infection free ...
I took a high dosage, no problems... You'll be ok!
