- Loud Music and being dumb
So since my major intrusive onset of tinnitus last 24th of June. I was in despair and I again stupid enough didn't wear protection and had lots of alcohol and took ototoxic allergy med that day. Since that night, I was off and had temporal shift in my hear which resulted in Louder T. Much Louder.
Before, all of this mess I had my T in control and just basically I was living my life again. 7 day after onset I took some prednisone (20mg for 5 days) wore ear plugs almost everywhere, went to another company party for the 4th of July (it was a party barge) but I had my musician plugs in all the time (glad I did because the stupid girl playing the music didn't want to lower the volume even though some people requested it to be). After the party I didn't notice an increase at all which is good but driving home the next day was horrible.
I arrived home and it was LOUD I had a LOUD buzzing hum and hissssssss. I never cried so much in my life. I just wanted to die. No one understood what I was going through, no one. I woke up the next Day and the hiss lessened but the Low HUM was still there. I waited a week maybe the prednisone was still in my system but then I went back to the ENT and he prescribed me more. I started again a week later this time a full taper and guess what, full on ear fullness and pain, PAIN in me ears after everyone would talk, whisper, everything would make my ears hurt. Even driving in my lifted truck make my ears hurt
FML......
I took three days worth of prednisone (60, 60, 40) then I stopped, as soon as I stopped three days later the fullness went away and my hearing came back but the pain was still there. But the Loud T is still there ever so ungodly. my ENT said to stop it, I could be causing ear damage. Fast forward with my life, now, I have made some drastic changes in my life, started my supplements again: Magnesium, NAD+, Fish Oil, NAC, a multivitamin: https://www.amazon.com/Controlled-L...8&qid=1502409406&sr=1-2&keywords=orange+triad, Ginkgo, and I think I even threw in 5HTP at night. During this time I started working out again (for serious this time) I included creatine and L-glutamine have been pushing myself to work my body to the fullest. All I want to do is basically tire my body out and go to bed (rinse and repeat).
Until one night around 1 am, I was on my ps4 playing some serious competitive on Overwatch. As I was going to my bedroom (and my bedroom gets super quiet) I swear for like two hours I was laying in bed and I could not hear my T. Like it had vanished in thin air. Like I am talking about 100% gone, no T! I was super excited and happy. I went to bed so f****king happy I cried. I said to myself I am 100% cured from this bullshit and thank god I can deal with my PT in my left ear. I even went to my bathroom closed the door and yup sure enough it was completely gone.
I wake up 3 hours later around 4am and I get a HUGE SPIKE in my right ear and the sh!t came back. FML. Today at work, I was working in my lab and as I was just typing an email I felt like my T (in my head skipped a beat, happened 2x for like two whole seconds T was gone). Now I don't want to jinx myself but yeah this has happened to me about 5 times already. I really pray this a me going to a full recovery..... Thank you all for the support and vent... ugh...I can't even go fishing
and fishing was life....
