Only minor tinnitus sufferer here. I have popping in the ear when I swallow and used to have fluttering in there before the pain started. I have had a lot of ear infections over the past three years (still have tubes in both ears), but they have always resolved with treatment.
Now for the past month I have had the pain of an infection but none of the fluid (left ear). ENTs tell me there is nothing wrong with the ear and want me to do expensive and time consuming TMJ treatment. The pain is only in the ear and rises and falls every three or four hours. It feels like my eardrum is strapped tight when it is bad.
No other symptoms.
Anyone else in this camp?
