I personally use 99% of the time foam earplugs. They block sometimes out a bit too much but I can understand speech most of the time still pretty good.

I personally struggle a lot with custom or musician earplugs, either they don't fit very good or they don't create the right seal. I don't know, I am never satisfied with them. Bought a lot of different types, but I always come back to foam ones. If you are ok with 25 dB ones, I'd go with them. I personally would use foam, but that is just me:)

Hi @Deamon22, thank you for your message. I tried foam earplugs already but I don't find them very comfortable, and it's not very easy to talk with them. I also find that they're not very easy to insert properly :/ So I hope those custom plugs would offer me more convenience ^^

Yeah, talking can be a bit challenging and you also get a closed off feeling. But I never found them uncomfortable. Inserting them is really easy if you practice it a few times. And on the plus side they are nearly invisible :D

But if you have no problem with the fitting of custom earplugs then go with them. Should be enough for most daily activities :)

Hi @Damocles. I wanted to ask you, when you wear 25 dB customer plugs with a filter, can you hear a person next to you without them having to raise their voice? In a situation such as walking in a busy street together, for example. Thank you for your time.
