Hello I have had the T's for nearly 15 years and until a few months ago I could deal with the constant noise but for some reason it spiked up and has not gone down. I noticed that I'm having problems with my social life and I that I can almost account for by the anxiety this stuff brings on. I have an appointment with a pharmacist about this situation and was wondering if anyone has a suggestion on how to lower this anxiety problem. Oh I was wondering if using headphones could be exacerbating this stuff. I use the headphones while watching the tv.
Thanks for your time and I know that by just reading this forum I'm not the only one in this boat. Jon
PS. I find myself laying down more often and just trying to get away from the noise.

One thing I do have is a good wife who is understanding and that helps. My audiologist is working on getting me a set of hearing aids that suppose to mask the tinnitus plus if I want to do trt with them. I worked for the federal government and retired 10 years ago and they will pay for the aids it just a matter of doing the right paper work. Klonopin? never used that but I have found out one this that helps and that Oxicotin but in very small amounts. It really take the edge oft as I notice it about 1/2 hour after I take a pill. But its very highly addictive so I do not over due it. Oh those aids boy do they charge an arm and a leg! $5,000 talk about being ripped oft. Oh well hope that my claim goes through and I can get underway with my Cadillac hearing aids-Jon
