I'm Being a Little Paranoid... (Afraid of a Possible Spike)

So I'm at my office and I was going to use somebody else's phone and I had it very near to my "bad" ear and suddenly the telephone rang at its loudest.

Of course it was very quick.

After that I heard a weird ringing or clicking in my ear, but it hasn't caused a spike.

Should I expect a worsening?

I can't comprehend why you always submit questions about average sound incidents. I have a suggestion from my own experiences: WAIT 3 to 4 days after an incident before assessing the situation and starting to worry... Can you do that or not? Will you die if you don't post a question right away?

All questions are equally important as the next person's so if it matters to you then post away as this is a support forum others should remember and think before they post.
What we post and how others interpret the written words can come across nice or not nice as we don't see face responses or verbal response and posts can come across harsh and they know who they are so no names mentioned...
Try not worry about sounds that seem to come out of the blue and try stay calm without a negative response and take a few deep breaths and that's all we can do as worrying about a spike can cause one...

I get the clicking / moving sensation in my ear too from some sounds i.e. if I put a pen on the table I can feel something move in my left ear a split second later. Does not signal a spike for me. It would be too logical and normal.

I do get random noises that trigger, like my 4 year old daughter saying something or wife closing the car door and then a loud lower tone with dimished hearing happens and then goes away after an hour or so. Totally unpredictable.
