Just Killed My Fire Alarm

My fire alarm at the bottom of the stairs keeps beeping and doing my nut in.
It's been reset again and again and keeps beeping.
The top alarm is fine and no fire.
The beeping one has no battery in it as its a battery free one and work for ten years off the fire brigade .
Got the fire alarm down and put it in the kitchen bin and still going off so by now my ears are joining in the fun extra loud so the fire alarm has been killed by putting it in a bowl of water in the sink where it's staying for a few hours R.I.P........ lots of love glynis

A fire alarm went off twice to night. Scared the crap out of me.

When my hubby came home I told him what happend and he got the alarm out of the sink and put it in the outside bin this was 10.30pm.
We started watching a film till 1.30am.
After I said to my hubby I can hear the fire alarm again.
He went out side and it was ringing its head off in th wheelie bin so hubby got it out and smashed it with a hammer.
Bet the neighbours were wondering where the ringing was coming from at that time of night...hahaha ......lots of love glynis
