Could you send me these papers? I need proof as my doctor is horrible to me, he doesn't believe a word I tell him...I trusts the words of so called specialists. I thinks ENT's will know more about this.

      @Viking

Ivan have you had any permanent reduction in tinnitus, even if it is a small improvement?

Unluky not. No permanent effects on tinnitus. Only transitory spikes the firts week and after a slight lowering but unstable. I wonder about my "hiperacusys free" but i can't talk about tinnitus relief. Sorry. I've tryed! :dunno:

I don't know! There is only 1 person who have had permanent result on tinnitus then i consider 1 thing: he was not cronic! Probably he was been cured naturally....is a chance that we must consider.

I could not take much because I gave kidney problems. Tinnitus seemed more "distant" and central. Unfortunately I had to stop because of dangerous (for me) side effects

I saw that Tegretol and Topamax they diminished your tinnitus. I will try these drugs

Tegretol and topamax should not be taken for 'experimental' reasons.
They are dangerous drugs with some nasty side effects. Talk with a doctor first.

I have tinnitus since 2012. I was able to hide it Whithout any problem , but since 4 months ago, it began to increase and became more reactive to the noise, and now it is very difficult for me to hide it. My goal with Trobalt is to stop definitely this reactivity.
According to you, is it possible?

Yes, trobalt can do this. It is more subjective. We are not all equal. Trobalt sure take the contorl of tinnitus spyke but i can give more advice on this drug because i have had to stop it due to important side effects.
Take care and talk with people who are taking trobalt and their experience.
Remember that this is only an experiment. If you are able to manage tinnitus, be strenght... i think it will go down to the baseline without drugs.
For more disease, the drugs can help, but after a period they "crash" others....then if you can... avoid any drugs.
I hope that tinnitus will go down or disappear.
      Best wishes

So far it has not been conclusive that any type of medication would stop the reactivity or hide T.
By the looks of it everyone has his own mix that would work with him. The thing with some of these medication is that you cannot use them for a very long time like trobalt, they have very bad side effects.
For me personally I've had T for the past 2 months and was considering taking trobalt or keppra. But what I have decided is to wait for another 2 months where I have an appointment in brai2n in antwerp I will conduct and qeecg there and depending on the results I will opt on what route to take either one of these medications or conduct some non-invasive procedures like tms

      Thanks Ivan
They were very helpful when I called to get the appointment, Belgium is an 8 hour flight from where I am

Hence when I called and got the appointment their tinnitus technician called me via Skype and had a 20 minutes discussion with me telling me what procedures they use and what to expect and not to expect and that there was only a 50% chance that they might be able to help.
I will post a review of my experience once I visit them and I hope you find your visit to Switzerland to be helpful and finally get you the silence you are looking for

Jesus you're very brave trying all these, I just looked up Keppra and Trobalt and couldn't believe the potential side-effects. They're horrific to say the least. If I could know without a doubt it'd cure my Tinnitus I would take it but I can't.

Hello, is there anyone else who has tried Levetiracetam?
I have managed to get 30 pills of 500 mg, I will give it a try to this, hoping that allows me to achieve an improvement... for now my tinnitus is under control, but I want to lowering it to the minimun level possible.

I will mix this with my LLLT sessions.
