i lost my fur baby Ping early this morning due to sudden heart failure. She was only 8 years old. My heart aches so much that tinnitus wasn’t even in my top 100 thoughts. I just wish God could have shown me in a different way that I can live with tinnitus.

This has been one of the most eye open experiences I have ever encountered. There is so much more to life than tinnitus.

My baby was my coping mechanism. She was there when I was sad frustrated happy or what ever emotion I happened to be feeling.

My husband and I don’t have children so our dogs are our babies. And we are deeply saddened as we mourn the loss of our first baby. just needed to post as my heart is very heavy today.

I'm sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you. To some of us pets are as much family as family members. She's very adorable and I'm sure she's in a better place now.

      Stay strong.

Thank you @Daniel95 everything happened so fast so I am just grateful that she did not suffer long. And she was definitely more to us than just a dog she was our family. ❤️

So sorry that this has happened to your beloved dog, Ping. Horrible and sooooo devastatingly sad. As a dog lover and owner, I really truly do understand. It is a profound loss. Again, although there really are no words, Im so sorry.

Very sorry for your loss. The bond between a dog and a human can be so profound and deep. I'm watching my terrier sleeping on the sofa now and he is the only thing keeping me in this fight. The day he goes, if the ringings not gone, i'm gone.

Thank you everyone for your Condolences. It’s been by far the worst day of my life. Words cannot even explain how I am feeling. She died in our arms as she knew it was okay to let go. ❤️

Wow! I am so sorry for your loss! I take it hard when I lose my pets as well. It's very difficult to understand why they have to go. Animals show love that most humans cannot and they will never stop loving you. I have lost many pets over the years and I miss all of them, I hope you are comforted by friends and family.

Again, I am sorry for your loss :(

PS-There is something called the rainbow bridge. It can be comforting to some folks, possibly read about it :)

@fishbone thank you for your kind words. I have so many friends and family that reached out today. Words just can’t explain the pain. She was such a sweet and fragile girl. We gave the best life we could and she just loved us so unconditionally. She was my best friend. Time heals all wounds. But I’ll never forget her.

I lost my fish. I put him outside in the pond and when winter arrived I had to bring him inside because he's a tropical and he died. People think one can't get attached to a fish but they are wrong.

@TracyJS i am so thankful that I was able to mother such a sweet dog. My heart may be broken now but she has left such a positive stamp on our hearts and in our lives. If I had to do it again with the same heart ache I would in a heart beat. It’s better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. ❤️❤️

I’m so glad you were able to mother such a sweet soul. Yes, the love they bring into our lives is worth the heartbreak we feel when we have to say goodbye. ❤️
